After finishing his PhD in theoretical physics in 2010, Michael joined the Competence Center for Automation at BASF in Ludwigshafen. Since 2013, he is responsible for a team concerned with DCS systems and automation aspects such as alarm management and high-performance HMI. Michael is head of the NAMUR working divisions 2.1 “DCS and PLC” and 4.20 “Remote Operation” and is also involved in NAMUR’s Industrie 4.0 (working group 0.2) activities.
