Presentation: Disaster Control Platform Against Cyber Risks

Attacks from Cyber Space constitute an immediate threat not only to our security but also to the functioning of our state, economy and society. CERT infrastructure is not only important for the technical level of IT security. On one side it provides relevant information for security within a narrow time frame and a quick and efficient reaction in case of emergency on the other side. An Austrian Strategy for cyber security including the CERT group in its concept already exists. So far it is informatively characterized and the involvement of volunteers is not provided. It makes sense to determine available  and usable resources in the ICT Sector in advance because the past has shown that the population is ready to help in case of emergency. This becomes even more important regarding the increasing involvement of ICT in other sectors.
